Bloomberg Forms Fake Grassroots Coalition Against 2nd Amendment
Michael Bloomberg, head of the Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) told the press that he will invest $50 million this year to develop an anti-gun campaign to rival the National Rifle Association (NRA).
MAIG is 750 mayors strong and would like to see massive restriction of the 2nd Amendment under “commonsense reforms”.
Bloomberg commented: “I am telling you if there is a God, when I get to heaven I’m not stopping to be interviewed. I am heading straight in. I have earned my place in heaven. It’s not even close.”
The former New York mayor is planning on building a fake grassroots effort to lobby the public against Capitol Hill for the expansion of background checks on registered guns at the state and federal levels.
MAIG, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (MDAGSA) and the newly formed Everytown for Gun Safety (EGS) will become a dynamic trio to bring an estimated 2.5 million supporters to aid their cause against the 2nd Amendment.
Bloomberg said of his new coalition: “We’ve got to make them afraid of us.”
In 2013, Bloomberg Bloomberg, Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy discussed the new over-reaching gun control legislation that will further empower the state to define “assault weapons”, ban large capacity ammunition magazines and expand background checks.
Malloy believes that because of guns being stored in owner’s homes, there will be a jump in recorded suicides.
He said: “There is a certain reality that America’s got to get used to that guns aren’t making you safer in your house. They’re increasing precipitously the opportunity for your child to kill themselves or someone else. There’s a reality that 19,000 people are going to commit suicide because there’s a gun in their house. And if there wasn’t a gun in that house and they didn’t commit suicide at that time, their chances of committing suicide at any time decreases by 90 percent.”
Two years ago MAIG began a campaign called “Demand a Plan to End Gun Violence”. The website states that “more than 800 mayors and 800,000 grassroots supporters demand that President Obama and Congress step forward with a plan to end gun violence.”
This initiative was backed by corporate contributions from from members of the Obama administration through the Joyce Foundation, MAIG is a self-serving prophecy.
The demands of this campaign are to criminal background checks on all guns sold in the US, ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and make gun trafficking a federal crime.
The MAIG offer a petition to be signed that would alert Obama and Congress of citizen support for gun control. They also will take down your personal data in order to determine your congressional representative and call you with the information.
Using celebrities like Beyonce, Reese Witherspoon, Jamie Foxx and Jessica Alba to propagandize to Americans, the MAIG demands that US citizens ban together because “enough is enough” and that before more children are killed, more shooting happen at malls and theaters, we must have restrictive gun legislation in place otherwise the dead will keep piling up.
