President Obama stood outside of a California Wal-Mart, giving a speech about how man-made climate change is hurting the planet.
Obama completely disregarded the fact that Wal-Mart is “one of the biggest and fastest-growing climate polluters” across the globe.
Shockingly, Wal-Mart consumes fossil fuels and creates exorbitant amounts of carbon dioxide emissions which have recently risen by 2%, which translates to 500,000 metric tonnes.
The president told the crowd gathered that investing in solar “is a good move for the country” because this energy form is “cheaper and easier to use than ever before. It will save money the companies can use to create jobs and grow their businesses.”
Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor under the Clinton administration commented : “What numbskull in the White House arranged this?”
This new scheme was revealed by the president in a press release from the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) which explains how the executive branch of our government has partnered with “300 private and public sector commitments to create jobs and cut carbon pollution by advancing solar deployment and energy efficiency.”
Through executive orders, Obama has decreed that $2 billion of taxpayer money will be funneled to “energy efficiency investments” to re-outfit federal buildings; install smart appliances and implement “training programs at community colleges … to assist 50,000 workers” in becoming part of the solar industry within the next 6 years.
Obama is using executive “actions” to:
• Build a skilled solar workforce
• Provide innovative financing for deploying solar
• Drive investment in energy upgrades to federal buildings
• Improve appliance efficiency
• Strengthen building codes
The Department of Energy (DoE) Solar Instructor Training Network (SITN) has been empowered to infiltrate “400 community colleges in 49 states that have trained over 22,000 people to join the solar industry.”
Some of these colleges include:
• San Francisco City College, San Francisco, CA
• Oglala Lakota Community College, Kyle, SD (Oglala Lakota Tribe)
• Kankakee Community College, Kankakee, IL
• St. Phillips College, San Antonio, TX
• Forsyth Technical Community College, Winston Salem, NC
• Greenfield Community College, Greenfield, MA
In 2013, the DoE created the Better Building Accelerators (BBA) “to support and encourage ongoing state- and local government-led effort to save money and energy.”
Experimental cities re-worked for the BBA include:
• Detroit, MI
• Mid-America Regional Council representing Kansas City, MO metro area
• West Palm Beach, FL
• Little Rock, AK
• Huntington Beach, CA
Taxpayer funding will also be moved to assist the expansion of “multifamily housing” under the Green Preservation Plus program (GPP) that offers “quality affordable housing by encouraging the investment in energy- and water-saving property improvements.”
This scheme is under the control of the Fannie Mae FHA Multifamily mortgage loan program gives money back to homeowners who are “committed to making improvements” to save water, energy and other resources.
Obama has a history of using taxpayer funds to assist solar corporations such as Abound Solar, a bankrupt solar energy corporation owned by Valerie Jarrett who is Obama’s senior adviser and assistant to the executive branch on intergovernmental affairs and public engagement.
Two years ago, Kyle Clark, correspondent for the local Denver station KUSA, said that Obama had confirmed that environmental monies allocated $60 million for stimulus were given to Abound Solar which “is out of business and under criminal investigation.”
Obama skirted the direct question by replying: “I think that if you look at our record that these loans that are given out by the Department of Energy for clean energy have created jobs all across the country. … And these are decisions, by the way, that are made by the Department of Energy, they have nothing to do with politics.”
