Police officers have been refused sales at gun shops as at the retailer Kiss Tactical who “refused to sell an AR-15 rifle to a police officer from California. He came into my shop and wanted to buy his duty gun in AZ because the same gun in his home state would cost him more. I told him that I would not sell him the gun even though he had his department letter saying he was able to buy it. I told him that if the gun was not legal for law abiding men and women in CA I would not sell it to him. After he told me that ‘civilians don’t need them type of guns,’ I asked to leave my shop. He stomped out mad.”
Norton Firearms believes “that a government that restricts it Citizens from executing their Constitutional Rights is no longer a government for the people or by the people. It is our policy not to sell our products or services to any organization that tries to diminish the rights given to us by our US Constitution and our Creator. If you are a government agency with a policy of restricting our Constitutional Rights we ask that you take our tax dollars and spend it somewhere else. I am sure there is some profiteering communist foreign company that will be glad to take our dollars for their gain. We will only sell to law abiding, Citizens and those agencies that truly support and will defend The US Constitution.”
Kiss Tactical went on to explain that they “have made a decision to not sell to any gun to police department that are not legal for civilians. We build custom AR-15 and have sold more than a few to cops in a few states. I am not sure how this will affect us but as we grow and our name gets out there more we will not change this policy.”
Texas Governor Rick Perry and Mississippi House Speaker Philip Gunn are courting Magpul Industries, a manufacturer of firearms that has threatened to leave their Colorado base if state legislation is passed to ban high capacity magazines.
Over the weekend, the “Day of Resistance” rallies across the nation demonstrated that Americans are not willing to just give up their 2nd Amendment rights. Founder of the protest Dustin Stockton said: “I do not oppose all tightening of gun restriction laws. But what we will never accept is the government coming into our homes and demanding to know exactly what kind of weaponry we have for our natural right of self-preservation.”
Perry has also sent letters to Mossberg & Sons, , another gun manufacturer, stating that in Texas they would consider relocating your manufacturing operations to a state that is more business-friendly.”
Gunn has corresponded with 14 gun manufacturers “inviting [their] company to come” to a state where they “will not be criticized for providing good to the law abiding citizens who enjoy hunting, shooting or who just want the peace of mind that comes with the constitutional right to protect their families.”
Gun has been sending letters to Colt’s Manufacturing Co., SIG Sauer America and Remington Arms Co.
An estimated 59 gun manufacturers have signed onto a boycott in New York because of the over-reaching restrictions placed against the citizens by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. The purpose of this boycott is to affect the New York Police Department’s ability to acquire firearms to use against the residents in their respective counties.
President Obama has used the single-mother “epidemic” against the public in a manipulation ploy to garner support for his federal gun grab. Last week Obama told a crowd in Chicago that he wished he had grown up with a more “involved” father.
Obama continued to say that children coming from single-mothers are at-risk youth who would benefit from community oversight. During the speech, Obama cued up a very dry chocking up and pretended to wipe away a tear that never manifested to give the impression that he cared about the children who he was protecting by disarming law abiding citizens while creating the perfect opportunity for criminals to commit acts of violence against a disarmed public.
California State Representative Darrell Steinberg is championing a new statewide ban on all semiautomatic guns which would also make it a felony is own more than 500 rounds of ammunition while requiring a state permit for ammunition purchases from the date the legislation is passed.
This bill includes restrictions on:
• Possession of magazines with more than 10 rounds
• Outlaw ownership of hollow point bullets for citizens
• Ammunition purchases require background check
• Limit ownership of ammunition to 500 rounds at any time
• Gun owners must be licensed drivers
• Gun owners required to purchase gun liability insurance
• Ban on all detachable magazines
• Previous gun purchases illegal and felony if owner keeps it
• Prohibit anyone not legally allowed to own a gun from living where one is present
• Expansion of state crimes a person in possession of a gun could be charged with
• California State Justice Department use taxpayer money to identify citizens targeted to not be allowed to own a gun
The Illinois State House is being made to revise their ban on concealed carry permits per the US District Court of Appeals which ruled last December that this law was unconstitutional as it violates the 2nd Amendment.
